THE FIGHT FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Our mental health has never been more important. One in four of us are affected, and mental health trusts and NHS providers predict that over 8 million of us are waiting for specialist support. The gap between need and provision is growing.

Using a script based entirely on the real testimonies of people who have struggled with their mental health, we see the fight many of us go through every day – the fight to be heard and helped. These are friends, our family, our colleagues. They are us. And they're telling a story we can all relate to.

The simple interview setup and dovetailing script focus exclusively on the power of their words, drawing us in. Because in this fight for mental health, we mustn’t look away. As the ad continues, we learn how Mind was here for them and is here for all of us. Their Infoline is a vital service that ensures people are directed to the right places for information and support. But to answer every call, Mind needs people to donate.

Mental health was once an unspoken taboo, now it’s a national crisis. With so many people affected, Mind’s first TV ad is a powerful reminder that, no matter what, no one should fight alone.
